Interested in joining Music Shakers to lead music and movement classes for infants, young children and their parents?

We can provide you with the necessary skills and experience to run your own groups.  There is a charge for enrolling in the Music Shakers training programme, which includes on-the-job training and shadowing a 1 hour class each week over several 12 week sessions.

There is the opportunity to run your own Music Shakers Classes for payment of £20/class following successful completion of the training course, and in the longer term to set up your own Music Shakers Centre.

You will be expected to learn and sing a variety of songs, both traditional and new, without musical accompaniment, and to move with the children to the rhythms and beat of the music during the classes. 

You will need to be committed to early childhood development, being sensitive to the abilities of young children to learn and express themselves through music, movement and dance.  

As a group leader, you will need to communicate effectively and engage classes of parents, caregivers and children, providing an experience in which participants learn to express themselves and explore their creativity.
